Meet our Talented Cast!
|
|
| ALLIE RAYE (Charly) is one of Hollywood’s favorite character actresses. In the role of Charly, she gives the viewer an opportunity to see her many levels of talent. Allie has been very lucky with her career. She was hand picked as the Hamburger Mom by Steven Spielberg for Minority Report. The role was written for her after he saw her audition tape. Spielberg called Allie “A Jewish Soprano.” She and Tom Cruise worked side by side and kept him laughing the entire time. The multitalented Eric Stoltz, directed her in an episode of Once and Again, and like Spielberg, created extra scenes for her after watching her work. Read more in the Press Kit. She has played comedic and dramatic supporting roles in theatre, television, and film, and has written and acted in several produced works for the stage and the screen, including Urban Messiah - a rock opera which premiered in Malibu in December 2004 - and various traveling acting and children's theatre troupes. A Perfect Life is Andrea's first leading role. Check out Andrea on IMDB |
| | THOMAS “MICK” ALFERA (Husband) writes, acts, teaches and avoids war with Quaker-like persistence. His work can be seen in such riveting straight-to-video productions by Blockbuster Inc. and York College of Pennsylvania. He has shared the stage with local luminaries in Pennsylvania and served drinks to Finola Hughes in The Dark Side of Genius, a German release directed by Phedon Papamichael. Thomas has written and produced music for The Morris Chair, Third World Grin, Second Sight, Carousel Begins, and his current project My Half-Ridden Dream. He has opened for The Ocean Blue and Four Non-Blondes. Thomas holds the distinction of performing five shows a day for the past three years for the mildly dysfunctional Los Angeles Unified School District. |
| | SHAYNA LUDWIG (Kid #1) is a 13 year old aspiring actress. She played various roles in her school play, Aladdin. She is very active in her school productions, working behind the scenes and doing whatever is necessary to make the shows run smoothly. Shayna loves to read books and write plays. This is Shayna’s film debut and she got to star alongside her dog, Dharma. |
| | KOLTEN KNAUB (Kid #2) started acting in Pennsylvania at age 4 in theatre, videos, and television commercials, and after moving to Los Angeles, quickly moved into TV and film. He has also appeared in television shows including Mad TV, Grey's Anatomy, and Crumbs. Kolten recently branched out into filmmaking as writer, producer, director & animator of his first short animated film, Wonder Turtle versus Anti-Ant in Space. |
| | KARINA KNAUB (Kid #3) started her acting career as an angel in a Christmas church production, and moved onward and upward to roles in commercials and television, including appearances in Bones and Cold Case. A Perfect Life is Karina's film acting debut. Karina also models, owns a profitable pet sitting business, and has started designing her own line of clothing. Karina recently became writer, producer, director & animator of two short animations, Centipede and Ant Fight! |
| | AUSTIN HANZELIK (Kid #4) recently began his professional acting career, and has already appeared in several national commercials & TV shows, including Grey's Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer, Mad T.V., and Cold Case. "A Perfect Life" is Austin's film debut. |
| | DHARMA THE BASSETT HOUND (Dog) is owned and loved by Mike & Audrey Sneberg. She was more than happy to show up to work each day. Dharma did not act like a Diva except when Allie ran out of marshmallows to feed her. This is Dharma’s first acting gig and is now considering giving up chasing cats to pursue acting full time.
