The Story

Charly is an outgoing, free spirit who lives life on her own terms. Single, outspoken, and a little rough around the edges, Charly seems to have it all - parties with gorgeous friends, talent, humor, and freedom. Nobody seems to really know how lonely and empty she often feels.
Marla, her younger sister, is the complete opposite - refined, polished, conservative, and intent on presenting the perfect image. She also seems to have it all - a handsome husband, beautiful children, an elegant home, and a perfect image. Nobody seems to know how lonely and empty she often feels.
These two sisters each envy the life of the other. Through humor and song, we see the reality of their imperfect lives unfold - and how the sisters come together to realize life is pretty good on their own side of the fence. | | |
